Monsieur Pickle and His Raspberry Beret

Mr. Pickle joined Olivia on a quick business trip to Paris, France from September 25-30. Business? In France? Yes, the business of a new outfit and plenty of coffee shops and pastries for for this famous traveling pickle! After some long work days, they had to fit a lot of sight seeing in at the end of the trip, and boy, did they ever! (This is the same Olivia that took Mr. P to Barcelona on a business trip.)

First up... Some Eiffel Tower action! He was taken with this blinking pickle-sized replica.
Are you loving his new shirt and raspberry beret!?? You know what they say, when in Paris...

Now for the real deal. They waited in line to climb the South Pillar. Ooh la la!

Halfway up the Eiffel! He's got this!

After Mr. P and Olivia made it to the top they treated themselves to some pain du chocolate on the observation deck.

Walking along the Seine on a beautiful Parisian day. Sigh.

Mr. P check outs the Musee d'Orsay, filled with French Impressionist art.

Macaron time! From Maison Pradier. This is the point where the trip gets pastry intense.

A fancy dress cake at a patisserie outside the Opera House. Mr. P kind of fell in love.

Mr. P meets a lady baker outside Olivia's favorite bakery in the neighborhood on her morning commute. So many rich pastires, so little time.

Wait, what? Pizza for breakfast? Yes. When it's carmelized fruit pizzas. They enjoyed these for breakfast on more than one occasion.

Notre Dame! Such stunning architecture for Mr. P and Miss O to take in.

Notre Dame tourists, these two!!

Sacre Coeur! The Sacred Heart Basilica of Montmartre.

Mr. Pickle takes in the view atop Sacre Coeur, the highest point in Paris.

Moulin Rouge at night. So pretty!!

What a phenominal trip to France! Such great sights and eats for Mr. P and Miss O. And I'm glad to see his beret didn't get blown away.

Next up: Michigan fun, Southern sillies, and East Coast shenanigans. He's free starting in November, where are you taking him?? Let me know! He need a place to stay for the holidays.
